John Browns Fort at Harpers Ferry West Virginia with Wagon
A wagon in front of John Brown's Fort at Harpers Ferry in West Virginia. On October 17, 1859, Brown led an attack on Harpers Ferry to launch a war against slavery. This is not the original site of the fort. It was originally located a few hundred feet away but was moved to accommodate the construction of a railway line.
