Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania. It gets its name from the river that runs through it, which is a primary source of water for the large population of African animals that live permanently in the park or migrate through it. It's best well known for its large elephant population and its baobab trees.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. It's peculiar geography is home to a dense population of African wildlife, including lions, hippos, rhinos, elephants, and zebras.

Lake Manyara is a shallow lake in the Natron-Manyara-Balangida branch of the East African Rift in Tanzania. Ernest Hemingway called it the "loveliest [lake] ... in Africa." It's home to diverse range of landscapes and wildlife and is particularly well-known for its hippos, tree-climbing lions, baboons, and large bird population.
